Welcome to part 2 of our study on Isaiah 54:17

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue, which rises against you in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

So Lets do a quick recap from last month.

Every tongue that rises against you in judgment , you shall condemn.
Things speak to us in different ways, feeling, thoughts, voices, even things we see, they all speak. Often we allow the things in the world speak louder than the promises from the Word, yet it is very clear in the scripture who has the authority over voices… We do.

The whole part of this scripture deals with a legal issue, as Satan the accuser, the lier, the deceptor, he can only use legal accusations against us. If he can get us to question if the promises of the Father and our Lord Jesus are true, then he has a hold over us. This is history repeating over again, this is the very same trick Satan used with Adam and Eve, “Did God say, surely God didn’t say….

Jesus was lead into the desert to be tempted (Matthew 4:1), He was tempted, “if you bow down …I will give you”, what is it he was doing? he was trying to get Jesus out of agreement with the Word and His Father, but what did Jesus do, He used the Word and that stopped Satan, you see Satan can only use the Law against us if he is going to bring a case to the Father.

Thank God for sending Jesus who took us out of the Worlds system and made us new creatures in Christ Jesus and seated us in Heavenaly realms. Jesus gave us authority, power and dominion. As we have authority over what we allow be spoken over us, this includes sickness or lack in any area of our lives, we must play our part.

Am I saying that sickness is a lie or it’s just propaganda? NO! let’s face it, pain and lack in our life speaks, it’s there talking to us if we have it, but it clearly states YOU SHALL CONDEMN, so How do we do this. The same way Jesus did in the desert, with the Word, Gods promises are yes and Amen. Amen means SO BE IT, so if Gods promises are SO BE IT, that is what we should be saying.  By The Strips of Jesus I WAS HEALED, I condemn and give no right to pain, sickness, lack in my body or life.

Now the scripture also makes another statement Resist the Devil and he will flee from YOU (James 4:7), you can guarantee Satan will test you on this, try to make your thinking in line with him, healing has passed away, you have this for the rest of your life…. and so on.

This is were we and condemn these things according to Isaiah 54:17, resist Satan, by drawing near to our heavenly Father and speaking what God has promised us, just as Jesus did in the desert and watch Satan flee.
