What Does Being a Christian Mean?

In The Bible in the book of Romans chapter 3 and verse 23 is says all have sinned. This simply means that all have not lived a perfect life, and in Gods eyes come short of the standard He lives by. I sure know I have and if honest haven’t we all.

The cost of a sinful lifestyle
In Romans chapter 6 and verse 23 says that because of sin we can not live a life with God and the wages or the cost of living without God is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life. You see God, even when we live outside of a relationship with Him loves you and me so much He sent Jesus to pay the price that we would have to pay which is death (a life without God and His love for us), you may say I can live with that, but the price not living in relationship with God is to spend eternity with those who have rebelled against Him and that my friend is in Hell. But God loves all mankind, He sent Jesus His Son, who lived a perfect life and died in our place went to Hell for us, now that’s what I call love, so where does this leave you and me? How do we build a relationship with God?

Have a relationship with God
Romans chapter 10 and verse 13 says EVERYONE that includes you and me who says Jesus is Lord and believes what I have just explained, can and will have a life in relationship with God, they can spend eternity with Him in Heaven and be saved from Hell. You see God doesn’t want anyone to go to Hell, that’s why He sent Jesus, so no one who believes in what Jesus has done for them needs to. Everyone alive today will live forever, it’s your choice in what you believe now determines where.

I want to ask you if you believe in your heart all of this, simply pray this Prayer out loud now.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for taking my place and paid the price for my sins, I believe in my heart that you died for me, so I can have a life in fellowship with God for ever, I ask you into my heart today and make you the Lord of my life in Jesus Name. Holy Spirit I invite you to come into my life and wash me of all my sin and fill me with the life of God. Amen”
